• The stationary measuring surface on the beam protrudes at right angles (measuring hook) to allow for the measurement of depths, internal groove positions, and other intricate characteristics
• Measurements can be taken on either side of the measuring hook
• Vernier models are designed allowing the main beam to be reversible with corresponding scales on the slider
• All measuring surfaces are hardened
